Doings and going ons~

Reading, I have been breezing through some books, tomorrow I will post some titles and brief synopsis’, just in case any fellow reader is interested in a good title.

I went to the salon today, I walked out with the same look I went in with…I need a stylist with balls…guess I need to find a male stylist, surely he’d have balls. I just want someone confident enough and willing to just grab some shears and whack away. I used to love that part, having a customer put their hair in my hands and giving me the freedom to just try anything…oh well…eventually I’ll find someone or just do it myself.

Just poured myself a glass of wine, will finish that, finish this and then call it a night, at least as far as my online activities go…I’ll be up reading….books are my life…does that sound pathetic to anyone else besides me?

  1. No It doesn’t sound pathetic! I wish I could get Into a book. I start on one and never finish It cause I get bored with reading, now thats pathetic!

And hair salons, I use to let them do what they wanted and tell me how I should have my hair, but now I let them know how I want It and how they should do my hair, no changing my mind or telling me that bangs won’t look good on you or you should cut off this many inches..blah blah blah!!! I’m the one paying alot of money to get my hair done, cut, dyed, highlighted, you name It, so you do what I want cause I’m the one whos going to be walking around In public with the new do, not you.. of course I don’t say all that to them, but I think It…LOL, I just tell them how I want it and don’t change my mind for me. 😀

    1. I want to keep the length…so they don’t have too many options, basically cut straight across or layers, either way they seem to freak out when I invite them to do whatever, so if they don’t seem confident then I’ll move on until I find a confident stylist…or cut it myself. Now if it was shorter I’d hesitate….

  2. I’m with Frannie on this one. I have given free reign to the hairstylists before and come out looking WAY worse than when I went in, so it’s my way or no way.
As for the reading, I love to read. Just wish I had the time to do more of it. It’s been a couple of months now since I’ve been able to read a book and I’m long over due. Maybe when my life and home get back to normal I can pick up another. Could be soon….my daughter’s going home this weekend. 😀

  3. As a stylist I enjoyed the creatvity but I wouldn’t just let someone walk out looking like crap, not good for business to have someone bad mouthing you when they are not happy with their look.

Tina I hope your life gets back to normal soon, worry about you.
