~I do not pick the wrong guys. They pick me.

Carrie: I do not pick the wrong guys. They pick me.
From Sex & the City….

Loved the dress~
Took the boys to the movies, they went to see “Take him to the Greek” and I watched SATC2…along with 3 other people….I had not stepped foot in a theatre since Wall-E…that was back in 2008. I’m glad the place was practically empty as I was having to move around several times as I tried getting comfortable…I sat through the whole movie and by the time we left my back was killing me…but the kids enjoyed the movie and they need to get out….it has been a busy day as earlier I did my radio show with my BFF Tracy….well that’s about it for me…I’ve been up long enough and my book awaits….

  3. Skype?

    Did someone say Skype?

I only did it once, but felt I was sent back to the future as I spoke with, and saw, a student in Scotland asking me questions about blogging for her research paper.

    I downloaded the soft ware.

We talked for nearly an hour.

    It was all free!

Had I died and gone to Heaven?

People actually talk to each other regularly using this devise? Get outta here.

Now, remember. I grew up with a rotary phone and saw guys delivering ice to city homes for what we called the old “ice box.” It will take me time to get used to these things.

  4. We skype regularly, but without the video chat…that would be too scary….we can browse around the net and look at the same things and discuss topics/people/places and things, quite fun and no need to be holding a phone to my ear. ;o)

  5. Hubby wants to go see “The A Team” on Saturday. I was hedging a bit because I would be uncomfortable sitting for so long and have a difficult time getting to my seat from the car.

Maybe I will give it a try, just to get the family out together. Haven’t been to the movies together since “New Moon” came out last year.

    Thanks for the inspiration!!

  6. Robin, if you can swing it early it is easier to find a spot where you won’t be in the way…or feel that you are…that’s usually my problem…as I know I’ll be squirming around my seat and needing to stand…and usually there are less people during the day…let me know how the movie goes…I think my boys want to go see it..as for me I’m good for another couple of years…
